Established April 2020
The IEG Foundation was established in April 2020 with a clear purpose: to drive positive change in the communities where we work. We believe that engineering excellence must go beyond infrastructure — it must serve people, protect the environment, and build lasting opportunity throughout Cameroon.
Our Mission
The IEG Foundation is committed to ecological transition, climate change response, biodiversity conservation, aquatic environment protection, poverty reduction, education access, and healthcare improvement — active throughout Cameroon.
We envision communities across Cameroon where sustainable development, equal opportunity, and environmental stewardship form the foundation for long-term prosperity — and where engineering serves as a tool for social progress.
Our Focus Areas
The Foundation channels IEG's expertise and values into targeted programs across six critical domains — each directly connected to the communities we serve.
Supporting Cameroon's shift toward sustainable land use, low-impact construction practices, and green infrastructure solutions.
Promoting climate resilience in communities, including adaptation planning, flood risk awareness, and sustainable urban development.
Advocating for biodiversity preservation and environmental impact mitigation in all engineering and development projects.
Protecting rivers, wetlands, and aquatic ecosystems through responsible hydraulic engineering and community awareness programs.
Supporting access to quality education and technical training — especially for young people in underserved communities across Cameroon.
Contributing to improved healthcare infrastructure and poverty reduction initiatives in the communities where IEG operates.
